Support Staff Positions

Accommodation Coordinator - International Students  (Part Time )
Start date: Term 1, 2025 or by negotiation

Are you passionate about helping students thrive in a welcoming and inclusive environment? We’re looking for a warm, dedicated, approachable and empathetic individual to support and guide both students and their residential caregivers. This is a fulfilling role with flexible hours where you’ll make a positive impact in young people’s lives. The hours are term time (with additional hours in the school holidays as required) and are negotiable for the right applicant.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing compassionate support to students and their residential caregivers

  • Visiting potential residential caregivers to ensure a safe and welcoming environment

  • Creating student profiles to help match them with a suitable residential caregiver

  • Building strong connections with new students and residential caregivers 

  • Offering reliable, after-hours emergency support for students and residential caregivers


The Ideal Applicant:

  • A friendly, empathetic person who relates well to teenagers from diverse cultures

  • Thrives both independently and as part of a supportive team

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent proficiency in English

  • Tech-savvy with strong computer skills

  • Well-organised with strong planning abilities

  • Holds a full driver’s license and has access to a vehicle

  • A keen willingness to learn and grow


This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building connections and fostering a nurturing environment for students. To apply, you must be eligible to work in New Zealand. Please note, a satisfactory police vetting will be required.
